Merlins vs Falmouth Town

The Merlin’s hit the road on Sunday to face Falmouth town. After a nice early start courtesy of manager Neil, it took a bit of time for the lads to wake up, but once they got going they started to pass the ball really well. Archie Dack (pictured) got on the scoresheet with a thunderbolt from 20 yards straight in to the top corner. Following some more neat and tidy football, Ethan Strowger continued his fine form and bagged himself a goal.

A couple of lapses of concentration at the back and Falmouth took full advantage. Archie then got his second of the game after battling well and poking the ball beyond the stranded keeper. The goal was ok, the celebration that followed was quite something… Theo Carpenter then got himself his obligatory weekend goal to round off a really good team performance from the boys.
